Among the most enjoyable aspects of my professional life is the exploration of challenging research topics and sharing my insights and ideas in the most clear, clean and inspiringing way.
These aspects manifest themselves in various ways in my role as UD at the Mathematical Institute at Leiden University: research projects with international and interdisciplinary collaborations, the creation of research articles, presentations at international conferences, teaching and advising students. I derive my motivation equally from the applicability of the research problems and plain academic curiosity - standing at the frontier of what is knowns. I am thankful that my academic career gave me the opportunity to get to know and work with people from all age groups and a multitude of cultural backgrounds.
